Victoria, British Columbia is situated at the Southern tip of Vancouver Island. This can be confusing to some as the City of Vancouver is also a great tourist location.
Nonetheless, to clear up any confusion, the City of Vancouver is about 15 km away from Victoria. It is located on the mainland of the Province of British Columbia.

You can find many free things to do in and around Victoria. One of them is readily accessible even without a car.
You can easily see the Southern tip of Victoria is rounded if you do a search on Google Maps. This shape makes for an interesting road structure. It also faces the ocean. Which means that we have miles and miles of beaches and walkways for you to explore and enjoy.

A good suggestion for families, couples, and even solo visitors is to take a walk or drive down Dallas Road. Continue all the way to Willows Beach and on to Cadboro Bay.
